Highland Helper, Front leg trimming

Highland cattle, although lovely to look at, can be difficult to hold!

How to trim those hooves?  The answer—the Highland Helper.

It has a special wide head bail to accommodate wide horns, underbelly girths to hold her and stop her going down during treatment, and back and front support blocks and winches to hold the hooves.  Then you can concentrate on helping your highlander without worrying about flying hooves or horns.

This headbail is available for a standard along situation or as an option on a Wrangler.

Recommended Highland Setup:

The back leg is winched onto the guide bar making examination quick, effortless, safe and there is no chance of a broken hip as the underbelly supports her during treatment.

Using the front foot winch the offending hoof is comfortably restrained with plenty of room for examination and treatment and no obtrusions to blunten the knife.

Wide footstraps, shaped soft footholders, comfortable girdle, and non-slip floor ensure maximum cow protection and comfort.
