Highland Helper

Grant Watts raising a cows’ hoof on his Dunedin Highland Stud

Highland cattle, although lovely to look at, can be difficult to hold!
How to trim those hooves?  The answer—the Highland Helper.

It has a special wide head bail to accommodate wide horns, underbelly girths to hold her and stop her going down during treatment, and back and front support blocks and winches to hold the hooves.  Then you can concentrate on helping your highlander without worrying about flying hooves or horns.

Back Leg Trimming

The back leg is winched onto the guide bar making examination quick, effortless, safe and there is no chance of a broken hip as the underbelly supports her during treatment.
